Audiobook Review: Flashforward
20 Oct 2009 | 9:18 amThe book is by Robert J. Sawyer and narrated by Mark Deakins and you can buy it from from Audible for $14.68. The book is in few words: A scientific experiment begins, and as the button is pressed, the unexpected occurs: everyone in the world goes to sleep for a few moments while everyone’s consciousness is catapulted more than 20 years into the future. At the end of those moments, when the world reawakens, all human life is transformed by foreknowledge. I have been having a hard time listening to Audiobooks without having seen them in reality either in a movie or a TV show. The book… -

Post pregnancy weight loss....4 years late!
7 Nov 2009 | 4:32 amWhen I was pregnant with my son, over 4 years ago, I put on a seriously unhealthy amount of weight.. I guess that as it was our first pregnancy, I overdid it on the ‘eating for two’ bit I am glad to say that since April 2009, after a lot of reading and failed attempts, I took my first steps (literally) towards loosing the weight and trying to get back to my size “10” outfits. I first started walking round the block at 5am in the morning, since trying to make time for myself is a serious challenge. After a couple of weeks or so, I increased the pace and started climbing stairs after… -

Bonnie: Why don’t we make “hand turkeys” like we did in school? Christine: Hummmmm . . . that’s a good idea. Five minutes later there is a lot of teasing, joking, chitchat and laughter coming from the tables in our bistro area. Thirty minutes later the walls of our USO at Camp Virginia are beautifully decorated with delightful drawings of Thanksgiving turkeys. All of this proving, once and for all, that even soldiers promoted to E-8… -

Muslims threatens Facebook to Deactivate their Accounts for 3 Days
5 Nov 2009 | 12:03 pmIt seem that this group in Facebook is growing very fast forcing Facebook to close all Groups against Islam, The Prophet (PUH) and Quraan, but this solution is not working with Facebook Jewish owner. The group owner started this by asking all Muslims not to access the site for three days starting October 24 which allot of the group members did, but i don’t think there was any effect. In history we had false flag operations like the Lavon Affair (Israeli agents attacking Western Interests to blame it on Arab nationalists) and countless other incidents of creating mayhem to ensure distraction. More recently as more ethnic cleansing in Jerusalem goes on, the Lebanese government reveals collaboration between Israeli intelligence in South Lebanon nurtured and worked with extremist… -

International law is key
6 Nov 2009 | 6:24 amCartoon by Paresh Nath The Palestinians' right of return challenges not only international law itself, but more so the political will of UN member states to act in the face of blatant racism and forced dispossession. A reply to Ahmed Badawi's "Palestine: seize the initiative". By Sam Bahour * Ahmed Badawi is to be applauded for thinking out of the box and probing issues that are virtually taboos on each respective side of the Palestinian-Israeli divide. Palestine and The Demise Of Conscience
6 Nov 2009 | 3:48 amMap of Disappearing Palestine By Terrell E. Arnold * 09-21-09 - For nearly a century the Palestinian people have felt the pressures of outsiders scheming to take over their homeland. For the past sixty years the invaders have systematically undertaken the ethnic cleansing of Palestine to make way for new Israelis. For this purpose the invaders have constructed a narrative the central theme of which is "God gave this land to us five or six thousand years ago, and the fact that we have seldom lived here in that period is immaterial. No matter who has lived on the land for the past several…

It’s a small place called “Tea Art” with almost everything at http://tea-forte.com/ available within arms reach. The staff was a bit bored and had I not known what I was looking for, I would have just walked out. They have a small bar where you can sit and try some tea.
